Janell Lasalle Vincent

ABBEVILLE—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Janell Lasalle Vincent, 67, who died Friday, May 19, 2023, at her residence.  She will be laid to rest at Petry Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Vincent; son, Scott Gaspard and his wife, Kelly; two daughters, Crystal Milburn and her husband, Lance, and Jennifer Gaspard; brothers, Alen Lasalle and his wife, Belinda, and Billy Lasalle and his wife, Brenda; sister, Gloria York; five grandchildren, Lacie Yanna, Luke Yanna, Jared Yanna, Coeyn Gaspard and Iyan Gaspard; one great-grandchild, Elias Yanna-Oliver; step-grandchildren, Patrick Vincent and Jonathan Vincent.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Lasalle and the former Maudry Richard; step-son, Scotty Vincent; three brothers, Calvin Lasalle, Leroy Lasalle, and Lennis Lasalle; and twin sister, Jeanette Maturin.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Sunday, May 21, 2023, from   10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at   7:00 PM; Monday, May 22, 2023, from   8:00 AM until   9:30 AM when the procession will depart for the church.
