Janice Ann D. Broussard

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 6:30 PM on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Janice Ann Delcambre Broussard who passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Deacon William “Billy” Vincent will officiate the services.

Janice was a loving and compassionate person whose main focus was taking care of others before herself. She worked for the Council on Aging group as a caretaker for the elderly for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the casino, playing pokeno and card games and spending time with her family, especially her grand kids and great grandkids. Janice will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son; Christopher Broussard and wife, Shannon; daughters, Keesha Broussard and Fiancé’, Todd Nunez, Teresa “Teri” Broussard, and Victoria “Vickey” Broussard; sisters, Bonnie Delcambre and Angela Fields and her husband Leon; brother, Randall “Randy” Delcambre and wife Tina; grandchildren, Madison and Gabriel Menard, Bryce, Brock, Brant and Britlyn Anselmi, Jessie LeBouef and husband Lance, Jordan Trahan, Jered Broussard and Scott Roberts Jr.; 14 great grandchildren; Godchildren, Hank Mergist, Alex Fields and Brody Lerette. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Meaux Delcambre; former sons-in-law, Clint Menard and Scott Roberts; and lifelong best friend, Brinda Romero.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edus Pierre Delcambre and the former Velta Sonnier; brothers, Tony Richard, Darryl Delcambre, and Gerryl “JD” Delcambre; and sister, Suzanne Peltier.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Monday, November 6, 2023, from 10:00 AM until time of service at 6:30PM. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM.

The family would like to thank all staff at Hope Hospice for their outstanding care and also a special thank you to Shaun Roberts Jr. for all of his special care he showed to Janice over the years.
