Jason Hebert

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Jason Hebert, 47, who died Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.  He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.

Jason will be remembered as a great brother, husband, dad and papa. He cherished spending time with the love of his life, Tomi, their children and granddaughter.

“Hebert” served in the United States Navy following his graduation from Gueydan High School. He attended LSU in Baton Rouge and was a die-hard LSU Sports fan. “Hebert” was a successful business owner of Hebert Tire and Auto in Lafayette, LA.

He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Tomi Hebert of Youngsville; his son, Conner Hebert of Youngsville; his daughter, Lexi Fontenot of Lafayette; his granddaughter, Eloise Fontenot of Lafayette; his father, Gerald Hebert and his wife, Nita of Egan; and his two brothers, Keith Hebert of Sulphur and Casey Hebert of Gueydan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia "Penny" Broussard Hebert; his maternal grandparents, Margaret and Emery Broussard; his paternal grandparents, Vivian and Dalton Jay Hebert; and his brother, Bryon Hebert.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at  1:00 PM.
