Jeffery John Harrington Sr.

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Jeffery John Harrington, Sr., 73, who died Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Baton Rouge General Bluebonnet Campus.  He will be laid to rest at Baudoin Cemetery.  Those serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Schexnaider, Chantel Wilson, Jeffery Harrington, Jr., Matthew Undheim, Skye Coon, and Dilyn Harrington.

Jeffery was a jokester and a known prankster, often playing tricks on his friends and family.  He was known to be something of a hell-raiser in his younger days.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Schexnaider Harrington; son, Jeffery Harrington, Jr.; four grandchildren, Destiny Miller, Skye Coon, Dilyn Harrington, and Matthew Undheim; four sisters, Barbara Harrington, Meline Hernandez, Waldeen Harrington, and Sarah Harrington; and brother, Atlas Harrington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Harrington and the former Audrey Turner; sister, Arma Harrington; and brother, Eddie Harrington.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 PM; Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 8:00 AM until time of services.
