Jerriel Dale Broussard

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church honoring the life of Jerriel Dale Broussard, 81, who died Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Abbeville General Hospital.  He will be laid to rest at Harrington Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Barbara Broussard of Kaplan; his two sons, Jenice Broussard and his wife, Roxie of Forked Island and Tommy Broussard and his wife, Shernel of Forked Island; his stepdaughter, Felicia Minter and her husband, Ricky of Lake Charles; his adopted grandson, Joshua Broussard; his grandchildren, Bradley Broussard and his wife, Courtney, Randy Broussard and his wife, Tamara; his great grandchildren, Bree, Eliza, Claire and Randy Broussard, Jr.; his step grandchildren, Codie Monceaux, Casey Monceaux and his wife, Bonnie; and his step great grandchildren, Valerie, Hannah, Isabella and Tommy Monceaux and Mia and Justin Minter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Renold "Bee" Broussard; his mother, Ruby Breaux; his grandparents, Odeon Broussard and the former Elise Landry; and his uncle, Rene Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 9:45 AM.
