Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Jerry Wayne Capps, 73, who died Friday, July 27, 2018 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Pecan Island Community Cemetery.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Zula Ann Foster Capps; his three sons, Thomas Capps and his wife, Tiffany of Broussard, Gerald Capps and his fiancée, Amy of Maurice, and David Capps and his husband, Clifford of Lafayette; and four grandchildren, Mason Capps, Gabrielle Capps, Isabelle Capps, and Annabel Capps.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin James Capps and Christine Greer Sullivan; three brothers, Sonny Capps, Tommy Capps, and Benjamin Capps; and his sister, Betty Hernandez.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM; Monday, July 30, 2018 from 8:00 AM until the service.
