John Curley Babineaux

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery at a later date.
Mr. Babineaux was a General Contractor for many years and built many homes in the surrounding area. He will be missed by all who loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nora M. Babineaux of Abbeville; three sons, Timothy Babineaux and his wife Judith of Indian Bayou, Gary Babineaux and his wife Mamie of Cow Island and Todd Babineaux and his wife Dawn of Scott, LA; two daughters Lynn Dartez of Abbeville and Janise Hardy and her husband Mike of Abbeville; two brothers, Joseph Babineaux of Duson and Paul Babineaux of Kaplan; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loston Babineaux and the former Eunice Manceaux; and sister, Jeannette B. Ladewig.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 10:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed at 2:00 PM.
