John Randy Guillotte

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of John Randy Guillotte, 58, who died Monday, July 27, 2020 at Lafayette General Medical Center.  He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon William "Billy" Vincent officiating the services.

John was a Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patient and a motivational speaker who educated others on lifestyle skills to help live a better life with multiple sclerosis.  In 1996, John had the honor of carrying the Summer Olympic torch through Lafayette, LA on behalf of Multiple Sclerosis.

He is survived by his mother, Amelia N. Guillotte; father, John Elwood Guillotte and his wife, Alma of MS; two sisters, Renee Guillotte of Abbeville and Melinda Pervel of MS; brother, Andre P. Guillotte and his wife Beth of Pensacola, FL; step-brother, Troy Tate and his wife, Lanay of Picayune, MS; niece, Delanie Norris and her husband, Dustin; and three nephews, Grant Matherne, James DeBlanc and Caleb DeBlanc.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Homer and Avia Nugier; paternal grandparents, Calise and Joyce Guillotte; brother, Michael James Guillotte; uncles, Minos J. Baudoin and Bert Guillotte and his wife, Gloria; and aunt, Gloria Menard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 9:00 AM until time of services.
