John E. Hargrave

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of John Ennis Hargrave, 67, who died Saturday, June 13, 2020 at St. Christina Nursing & Rehab Center.  He will be laid to rest at Broussard Cemetery with Reverend Palthasar Arrockia Doss officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Tylor Hargrave, David Broussard, Harley Sanders, Jeremiah Sanders, Matt Sanders, and Ricky Miller.

John was known for riding his red bike around town. He enjoyed singing, dancing, playing cards and fishing. John was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

He is survived by his two sisters, Mary Ruth Dronet of Kaplan and Juanita Baudoin of Kaplan; his brother, Lenis Hargrave of Crowley; his godchild Rhonda Sanders; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ennis J. Hargrave and the former Agnes Fontenot; and his brother, Kenneth Lee Hargrave, Sr.
