John "J.D." Sensat

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of John "J.D." Sensat, 79, who passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Cossinade Cemetery with Reverend Farley Painter officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jean Sensat of Gueydan; two sons, Donald Sensat of Rayne and Robert Sensat of Crowley; four grandchildren, Sarah, Michael, Corey, and J.D. Sensat; and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his guardians, Ophie Meaux and the former Isabelle Soileau; and one son, Michael Sensat.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 8:00 AM until services.
