John Emery Landry

Abbeville—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 26, 2024  at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of John Emery Landry, 79, who died Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Abbeville General Hospital.  He  will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Father Alexander Albert officiating the services.

John, was the owner/operator of Copy Services, retired 7 years ago. He enjoyed playing golf, was an avid sports fan, and loved cars. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Beverly Broussard Landry; two daughters, Angela Spencer and her husband, Sam of Orange Beach; and Michelle Landry of Lafayette; three sons, John Landry, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer of Houma, Chad Toups and his wife, Michelle of Rayne, and Todd Toups of Jackson; grandchildren, Slayde Landry, Sabryna Landry, Claire Toups, Hannah Guillot, Haley Toups, Aiden Toups, Kelly Toups, and Natalie Toups; and great-grandchildren, Knox Chauvin, Jaxon Guillot, and Jensen Guillot.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Abel Landry and the former Marie “Seda” Theall; and brother, Paul Daniel Landry.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 9:00 AM until 12:45 PM when the procession will depart for the church.  A rosary being prayed at 12:00 PM.
