John Jack Richard

Lyons Point—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, July  3, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church honoring the life of John Jack Richard, 90, who died Friday, June 28, 2024 at Southwind Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He will be laid to rest at St. John the Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Palthasar Arrockia Doss officiating the services.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Shirley Richard of Houston, TX; two half-brothers, Joseph Roy (Jackie) of Kaplan, and Daniel Richard of Lake Charles; 19 nieces and nephews; and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Simon Roy; his father, Alexion Richard; two sisters, Helena LeBeouf, and Rose Primeaux; and one brother, Clifford Richard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, July  3, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 2:30 PM with a rosary being prayed at 10:30 AM.
