Joseph Minos Connor

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Joseph Minos Connor, 75, who died Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Abbeville General Hospital.  He will be laid to rest with his son, Timothy Connor at a later date. Father Donald Bernard will officiate the service.

Joseph is a graduate of Henry High School.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era.  He proudly served 4 years on the Constellation CVA - 1964 until 1969.

For his pastime he enjoyed woodworking, playing bourrée, and mowing his lawn. He enjoyed drinking a cold Coors Lite on his porch while listening to French music.  He appreciated a trip with his wife to the local casinos.  Most of all he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Susan Trahan Connor; son, Tracy Stuart Connor and his wife Kristy Vincent Connor; two daughters, Michelle Connor Guidry and significant other Kent Simon, and Regina Connor Suire and her husband Dusty Suire; grandchildren, Hunter Guidry and his wife Kristin Broussard Guidry, Kaleb Connor, Trenton Connor, Kaitlynn Hargrave, Konnor Suire, Alaina Camille Guidry and Abigail Connor; great grandchildren, Parker Guidry and Oliver Guidry.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Connor; mother, Elvina Colomb; son, Timothy John Connor; brothers, E.J. "Slim" Connor and Lloyd Connor; and sister Linda Stelly.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 9:00 AM until time of services. A rosary is being prayed at 1:30 PM.
