Joyce Breaux

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Joyce Breaux, 89, who died Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Christus Ochsner St. Patrick Hospital.  She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Deacon Tom Sommers officiating the services.

She is survived by her four daughters, Connie Anderson of Houston, TX, Joy Harrington and her husband, Bradley of Gueydan, Pamela Goos and her husband, Brady of Lake Charles and Kayla Hutchison of Asheville, NC; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great-great granchild; her sister, Doris Bellard of Lake Charles, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Shelton Breaux; parents, Andrew and Edua Frederick; son, Glen Conner; sister, Mildred Stelly; brother, Paul Frederick; and the father of her children, Nelson Conner.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the time of the services at 2:00 PM. Burial services will follow at Gueydan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the children of Joyce to help with funeral expenses.

The family would like to express great appreciation for the care Joyce received from Resthaven Nursing Home, as well as, the loyal support received from her nurse, Tammy Potier.
