Joyce B. Harrington

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Joyce B. Harrington, 65, who died Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Abbeville General Hospital.  She will be laid to rest at Mire Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Roland P. Harrington of Kaplan; one brother, Lursie Bourque of Rayne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Bourque and the former Anna Broussard; one sister, Janet Bourque and; one brother, Joseph Bourque, Jr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Monday, August 19, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 8:00 AM until 10:45 AM when the procession departs for the church.
