Joyce Vincent Kite

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Kaplan Baptist Church honoring the life of Joyce Vincent Kite, 86, who passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Kaplan Healthcare Center.  She will be laid to rest at Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Kyle Coates officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Clint Hebert, Seth Hebert, Dax Faulk, Chad Meaux, Vanessa David and Shaina Meaux.

She is survived by her sister, Lena V. Hebert of Kaplan; her nieces and nephews, Vanessa David, Valerie Meaux, Monica Meaux, Angella Faulk, Clint Hebert and Seth Hebert; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kite; her parents, Ignace Vincent and the former Seda LeBlanc; her two sisters, Verna V. David and Lilly V. Leger; her two nephews, Charles David and Vince Leger; her niece, Lynette Claire David; and three brothers-in-law, Rayland Hebert, Vernis Leger and Gilbert David.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Kaplan Baptist Church, 400 N. Trahan Avenue, on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 9:00 AM until the time of the services at 12:00 PM.
