Juanita R. Gaspard

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Juanita Rose Gaspard, 74, who died Monday, July 22, 2019 at her residence.  She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Palthasar Arrockia Doss officiating the services.

She is survived by her three sons, Anthony J. Gaspard and his wife, Terri of Kaplan, Timothy D. Gaspard and his wife, Delores of Meaux, and John Gaspard, Jr. of Kaplan; two daughters, Patty and her husband, Kenneth Touchet of Kaplan and Melinda and her husband, Keith Sellers of  Forked Island; two sisters, Shirley Newton of Kaplan and Patricia Prudhome of Kaplan; one brother, Percy Roy, Jr. of Kaplan; 18 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and one great - great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Gaspard, Sr.; her parents, Percy Roy, Sr. and the former  Mable Corner; and one brother, Harry Lee Roy.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 8:00 AM until the time of services at 1:00 PM.
