Juanita "Tiny" White Broussard

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September  3, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Juanita White Broussard, 63, who passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at her residence.  She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Reverend Wilie White, Sr. officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Lyndon Montgomery, Ricky Meaux, Van Clement, Jr., Ulysse Shelvin, Tyron Roy and Sylvester Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be John O’Brien, Elliot O’Brien, Richard O’Brien, Darrell Broussard, Marcus Broussard, Milton Harris and Joseph White, Jr.

On August 17, 1959 a daughter, Juanita, was born to Mary White and Odell Cheney in Portsmouth, VA. Juanita or “Tiny” as she was affectionately known, was the baby of Mary’s kids. Her greatest joys were being a wife, mother, grandmother and bingo player.

Tiny leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 32 years, Kevin Broussard; her only son, Abraham Turner (Tiffany); two daughters, Sheneal Montgomery (Macho) and Destiny White; her 15 grandchildren whom she adored; two sisters, Fannie O’Brien (Steve) and Ruth Mouton (Jay); three brothers, Willie White, Jr.(Brenda), Joseph White, Sr. (Pat) and Alexander White (Daphne); the two women who reared her after the passing of her mother, Esther and Bernice White; her father-in-law, Clifton Broussard, Sr.; her brothers-in-law, Darrell Broussard, Dexter Broussard, Clifton Broussard, Jr., and Marcus Broussard; her sisters-in-law, Tonia Francis (Johnny), Pamela Derouen (Nathan), Phyllis Vallian (Gil), Anita Levy and Erica Jones; and a host of  nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends.

Welcoming her into their loving arms are her parents, Mary White and Odell Cheney; her mother-in-law, Carol Broussard; her brother-in-law, Donald Ray Levy; and her brother, Mark White.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to everyone for all of their love and support during this difficult time.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Saturday, September  3, 2022 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 11:00 AM.
