Judith Roy Greene

Kaplan—Judith Roy Greene, 75, died peacefully on September 1, 2024. Graveside services officiated by Reverend Stephen Sahayaraj Irudayasamy were held at 2:00 PM on September 4, 2024 at St. David Chapel Cemetery. She was laid to rest with her beloved husband.

She served the community for many years, working in the banking industry. After having children, her and her husband opened their own business serving the framers and ranchers across Vermilion Parish and beyond. She made many lifelong friends in the cattle industry from owning cattle and traveling with her family to cattle shows nationwide. She dedicated her life to loving and serving her husband, children and family. She was a woman of great strength, compassion and love to all those who knew her.

She is survived by her two children, Ryan Greene and his wife, Alexis of Kaplan and Rachel Mayard and her husband, Rusty of Meaux; five grandchildren, Rylee, Ty, Gavin, Sarah and Lily; one sister, Donna Morvant and her husband, Stan; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Russell Greene; her parents, Louis and Alamae Roy; and two brothers, Ted Roy and Kim Roy.
