Kenneth "Pop" "Kenu" Joseph Gaspard

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at St. David Chapel honoring the life of Kenneth “Pop” “Kenu” Joseph Gaspard, 75, who died Sunday, April 10, 2022 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at St. David Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lucille Broussard Gaspard of Wright; his son, Kevin John Gaspard of Wright; his sister, Catherine E. Gaspard and her companion, Luke Guillory of Wright; and his two brothers, Donald J. Gaspard and his wife, Glena of Gueydan and Carlen J. Gaspard and his wife, Charlene of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Joseph Gaspard and the former Velta Meaux; his maternal grandparents, Harry Meaux and the former Edna Hebert; and his paternal grandparents, Sidney Gaspard and the former Eunice Landry.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. David Chapel on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 9:00 AM until the time of the services at 1:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM.
