Lara J. Guidry

Cow Island—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Lara J. Guidry, 70, who died Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Abbeville General Hospital.  She will be laid to rest at St. Anne Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Barzare officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, John Guidry, Sr. of Forked Island; her two sons, Bryan Keith Guidry of Forked Island and Kevin John Guidry of Forked Island; her daughter, Susan Marie Guidry of Forked Island; her 11 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her three sons, John Guidry, Jr., Bryan Oneil Guidry and Nathan John Guidry; her parents, Xaiver Marceaux and Lettie Marceaux; her five brothers; and two sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 9:30 AM.
