Larry James Primeaux

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Larry James Primeaux, 64, who died Monday, June 17, 2019 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Cedric Primeaux, Zepherin Primeaux, Kent Abshire, Kendrick Trahan, John Cormier, Sr., and Allen LeJeune. Honorary pallbearers will be John Cormier, Jr., David Cormier, Mark Cormier, and Leonard Cormier.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carole Primeaux; two sons, Cedric Primeaux and his wife, Amber of Nunez and Trenton Primeaux of Painesville, Ohio; his mother, Verna Lege Delahoussaye of Kaplan; and seven grandchildren, Zepherin, Trenadi, Makailyn, Emmett, Onna, Hallie, and Reis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mandrus Primeaux; three brothers-in-law, Donald "Bubba" Robinson, Aaron Cormier, and Patrick Cormier; his father-in-law, Hugh Cormier; his maternal grandparents, Eustace and Louise Lege; and his paternal grandparents, Zepherin and Annie Mae Primeaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 8:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM.
