Larry James Vidalier

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Larry James Vidalier, 80, who died Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Deacon Bryan Istre officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Kelly Vidalier, Dillon Vidalier, Zackory Broussard, Kylie Parenteau, Jim Henderson, and Jeremy Lartigue. Honorary pallbearers will be Devin Vidalier, Dustin Vidalier, Lauren Evans, James Evans, and Sonny Mire.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Beverly M. Vidalier of Kaplan; one son, Kelly Vidalier and his wife, Shannon of Athens, AL; three daughters, Annette Henderson and her husband, Jim of Kaplan, Rachel Vidalier of Kaplan, and Mary Luquette and her husband, Evel of Mouton Cove; one sister, Elizabeth (Betty) McCanlies and her husband, Patrick of Kaplan; one brother, Glyn Vidalier and his wife, Margie of Kaplan; 11 grandchildren, Lauren Evans and her husband, James, Corey Henderson and his wife, Alma, Keeley Tyler and her husband, Hunter, Alyssa Ruggles and her husband, Chris, Dillon Vidalier and his wife, McKenzie, Devin Vidalier, Dustin Vidalier, Kylie Parenteau, Zackory Broussard and his wife, Riann, Desiree Luquette Thornhill, and Trinity Luquette; and 10 great grandchildren, Asher Parenteau, Scarlett Manning, Winston Broussard, Eva Vidalier, Beau Evans, Claire Evans, Bella Ruggles, Gabe Ruggles, Nash Tyler, and Hudson Luquette.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emery Vidalier and the former Fadra Faulk; and his sister, Lorraine Guidry.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 8:00 AM until the services begin at 10:00 AM.
