Laura Mae Herpin

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Laura M Herpin, 98, who died Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at her residence.  She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Hebert officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, John Herpin, Jr. of Kaplan; her daughter, Rebecca Herpin of Lafayette; her granddaughter, Aimee Bertrand of Branch; numerous nieces and nephews; and two wonderful caregivers, Katie Cormier and Janet Boutte.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred John Herpin, Sr.; her parents, Etienne Meaux and the former Elita Hebert; and one sister, Gertis Leleux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 600 N. Church Avenue, on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the time of the services at 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM.
