Lena Mae Boutin Trim

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Lena Mae Boutin Trim, 72, who died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Fred Boutin, David Stelly, Dwayne Abshire, Ryan Castille, Kevin Abshire, and James Abshire, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Wesley Castille, Sam Meaux, Steven Turner, and Alton Boutin.

She is survived by her son, Fred Boutin of Erath; four daughters, Theresa and her husband, David Stelly of Crowley, Linda "LeeLee" Trim of Abbeville, Roxanne and her husband, Ryan Castille of New Iberia, Brenda and her husband, Dwayne Abshire of Kaplan; two sisters, Wanda B. Gary of Abbeville and Ramona and her husband, Harry Hebert of Abbeville; eleven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alibe Boutin and the former Marie Agnes Pourciaux; five brothers, Alton, Walter, Paul, Joseph, and Alibe "Louis" Boutin; and four sisters, Lillie Mae Labit, Mary Leger, Rose Boutin, and Theresa Doucet.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Linda Trim, Anna Bourque, Roslyn Gumbs, and St. Joseph Hospice for their love and care in Lena's time of need.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church.
