Lillian Sellers Meaux

March 4, 1926 — May 30, 2018

Abbeville—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 4, 2018 at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church honoring the life of Lillian Marie Sellers Meaux, 92, who died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Maison du Monde Living Center.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Bill Melancon officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, Aveneal Meaux, Jr. and his wife, Donna of Erath, and William "Billy" J. Meaux and his wife, Dianna of Abbeville; daughter, Tina M. Hebert and her husband, Bobby Joe of Abbeville; ten grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aveneal Meaux, Sr.; parents, Joseph Luma Sellers and the former Olite Lopez; brother, Curtis Sellers; and grandson-in-law, Jim Bazar.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 9:30 AM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM; Monday, June 4, 2018 from 8:00 AM until 10:45 AM when the procession will depart for the church.
