Linda Faye Etue

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Linda Faye Etue, 77, who died Saturday, August 3, 2024 at AMG Specialty Hospital.  She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon William Vincent officiating the services. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Jerrold Garrett, Billy Anderson, Doris D. Garrett and Susan D. Lopez.

Linda was a longtime special education teacher having taught at various schools around Texas and Louisiana.  She was very fond of her felines; especially “Mims” her cat.  She enjoyed watching television and playing games on her iPad.

She is survived by numerous cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse C. Etue and the former Pauline Decuire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 10:00 AM until time of services.
