Linda Connor Stelly

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Linda Connor Stelly, 86, who died Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Stelly, Corey Broussard, Quinton Stelly, Joey Hargrave, Jarrid Hargrave, and Jeremy Abshire.

She is survived by her three sons, Leeman Stelly and his wife, Jackie of New Orleans, Alvin Stelly of Meaux, and Alfred Stelly, Jr. and his wife, Henrietta of Delcambre; her four daughters, Marlene Stelly of Kaplan, Judy and her husband, James Hargrave of Kaplan, Maxine and her husband, Larry Saltzman of Kaplan, and Emalee and her husband, Frank Harris of Youngsville; her brother, Minos Connor of Kaplan; her 21 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Stelly, Sr.; her two great grandchildren; her parents, John Connor and the former Elvina Colomb; and her two brothers, Lloyd and Edward Connor.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church.
