Lou Anna Broussard

June 30, 1938 — September 4, 2021

Abbeville—Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September  8, 2021 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Lou Anna Landry Broussard, 83, who died Saturday, September 4, 2021 at her residence.  She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Louis J. Richard officiating the services.

Mrs. Broussard worked at The Sportsman for where she retired after 30 years. As an avid gardener, Lou loved to travel, entertain and looked forward to holiday gatherings with family and friends.  She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Les Amis Homemakers.

She is survived by her children, Tamra B. Campbell, Micheal K. Broussard, and Judith Y. Miller and her husband, Sean; grandsons, Jonathan Campbell, Michael K. Broussard, II, Patrick S. Miller and Matthew S. Miller; and one great grandson, Aldous F. Miller.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Broussard; son, Kenneth J. Broussard; parents, Wildred Landry and the former Telcide Marie Saunier; in-laws, Wilda and Meuse Broussard; siblings, Fred Landry, Gerard Landry, Herby Landry (Amy), Betty Ann Wiltz (Boy), Theresa Foreman (John), Manson Landry (Mae), and Merline Sonnier (Dave); sister-in-law, Eveley "Toot" Touchet Landry; nephews, Rick Sonnier, Clint Sonnier and Chris Ordoyne; and niece, Christine Ordoyne.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Wednesday, September  8, 2021 from 9:30 AM until 12:45 PM when the procession will depart for the church.   A rosary being prayed at 12:00 PM.
