Kaplan—Lovina "Nin" Lege, 92, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She was born Lovina Gaspard on August 8, 1925 to Mayo and Mathila (Roy) Gaspard. She resided most of her life in Kaplan, Louisiana.
She is survived by two grandsons, Christopher Jude Lege of New Orleans and Nicholas Scott Lege of Abbeville; and one brother, Howard Gaspard of Kaplan.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bazile "Man" Lege; her daughter, Rita Ann Lege; her son, Norris Joseph Lege; one brother, Whitney Gaspard; and one sister, Elvin Schexneider.
Funeral services officiated by Reverend Mark Miley will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Vincent Funeral Home in Kaplan, Louisiana. She will be laid to rest next to her husband and two children at Kaplan Cemetery.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the services.
