Lucy Lee Montgomery Comeaux

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 1, 2017 at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Mission Chapel honoring the life of Lucy Lee Montgomery Comeaux, 73, who died Thursday, November 23, 2017 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Nicholas DuPre' officiating the services.

She is survived by two sons, Marlon Comeaux and his wife, Karen of Powder Springs, GA and Wendell Comeaux and his wife, Shahera of Kaplan; four daughters, Stephanie and her husband, Dwain Johnson of Kaplan, Vanessa Comeaux of Kaplan, Karen and her husband, Larry Carter of San Antonio, TX and Melanie and her husband, Jansen Drake of Marietta, GA; two sisters, Annabelle Francis of Kaplan and Rosabell Mouton of New Orleans; one sister-in-law, Mary Etienne of Lafayette; one brother-in-law, Clifton Francis of Kaplan; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Joe" Comeaux; one son, Kendell Comeaux; and her parents, Daniel Montgomery and the former Edith Thibeaux.
