Ludring J. Plaisance

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Ludring John Plaisance, 86, who died Saturday, August 7, 2021 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.

He is survived by his three sons, Randy Plaisance of Gueydan, Steven Plaisance and his wife, Carol of Gueydan and Robert Plaisance and his wife, Stacey of Gueydan; two daughters, Debra and her husband, Gary Abshire of Gueydan and Susan and her husband, Nelson LaComb of Gueydan; one sister, Viola Vondenstein of Gueydan; eight grandchildren; 16 great grand-children; and two great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mickey Plaisance; parents, Polite Plaisance and the former Ada Lege; six brothers; and two sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the services at 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM.
