Mae Rose Gaspard

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Mae Rose Gaspard, 84, who died Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services. Pallbears will be Daniel Migues, Brett Freyou, Michael LeBlanc, Darren LaBry, Denward LaBry, and Timothy Broussard.

She is survived by her son, Bradley J. Gaspard; her grand daughter, Dawn Migues and her companion, Brett Freyou; three great grandchildren, Morgan, Magan, and Mallory Migues; and one great-great grandchild expected in August.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Gaspard; her son, Norman Gaspard; her daughter-in-law, Darlene M. Gaspard; her parents, Claude Stelly and the former Gratia Stout; her brothers, Octave and Lloyd Stelly; and her sisters, Gertie Ledoux, Hazel Trahan, Viola Meaux, Bella Broussard, and Pearl Boudreaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 12:45 PM.
