Marc Shane Mouton

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Kaplan Baptist Church honoring the life of Marc Shane Mouton, 64, who died Thursday, September 10, 2020 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at St. John the Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Lee Rogers, Pastor Kyle Coates, and Pastor Rob Johnson officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Christian Nugent, John List, Brook Istre, Shea Istre, Blake Hargrave, and Scott Auzenne.

Marc was a Vietnam War Veteran of the Air Force, and served 33 years in law enforcement.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Becky Arceneaux Mouton; his two sons, Brook Istre (Michelle) and Shea Istre (Heidie); his three daughters, Celetra Michelle Daigle (Jeffery Armstrong), Robyn Hargrave (Blake), and Amber Istre (Scott Auzenne); his 13 grandchildren, Ezra Mouton, Mallory Hargrave, Reese Mitchell, Celine Auzenne, Kayleigh Istre, Thristan Daigle, Issabella Daigle, Kalyn Hargrave, Bradyn Istre, Shealynn Istre, Camryn Istre, Kaia Daigle, and Tristyn Istre; his mother, Eula Perry Bonnet; his mother-in-law, Yvonne Arceneaux; and his siblings, Robbie Mouton (Charlene), Kim Mouton, Kevin Mouton, and Nikki Mouton.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Mouton; his brother, Ricky Mouton; his father-in-law, David Lee Arceneaux; and his sister-in-law, Rhonda Arceneaux Nugent.

The family would like to thank Sheryl Turnage and Christie Hargrave, as well as Whitney Broussard from Hospice of Acadiana for their compassionate care and tremendous help they have provided for Marc during his time of need.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Kaplan Baptist Church, 400 N. Trahan Avenue, on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 9:00 AM until the time of the services at 11:00 AM.
