Maretta Bodin Baker

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Maretta Bodin Baker, 72, who died Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Abbeville General Hospital.  She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon William "Billy" Vincent officiating the services.  Those serving as pallbearers will be Steve A. Roy, Jr., Trent Luquette, Seth Gaspard, Hunter Mire. Dustin Broussard, and Nathan Bodin.  Honorary pallbearers will be Tripp Hebert and Tanner Hebert.

She is survived by her father, Whitney Bodin, Jr.; two daughters, Michele R. Foreman (Kirk), and Shawndel M. Menard; two brothers, James Richie Bodin (Brenda), and Paul Berton Bodin (Sarah); six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Henrietta Lee Bodin; brother, Donnie Bodin; granddaughter, Hailey Menard; husband, Gerald "Jerry" Baker.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 9:30 AM until time of services. A rosary being prayed at 12:30 PM.
