Margaret Annette Christian

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November  9, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Margaret Annette Christian, 64, who died Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Ochsner Medical Center of Baton Rouge.  She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who lived life to the fullest.  She loved fishing, shopping, crafts and playing pool. She loved her family with all her heart. Margaret retired after 21 years of being a nurse to spend time with her family and friends. She will be missed dearly by all who loved her.

She is survived by her husband of three years, Robert Christian; her four children, Michael D. Lamkin and his wife, Rebecca A. Aguillard, Ellen M. Cooper and her husband, Jeremy,  James R. Lamkin and his wife, Emily and Rachael R. Lamkin and Daniel J. Desormeaux; her three stepchildren, Tiffany , Stacy and Brandon Christian; her 17 grandchildren, Amber K. Rogers, Hayley N. Lamkin, Kristen N. Lamkin, Skylor K. LaCaze, Chandler D. Lamkin, Jaylen L. and  Bailey J. Dubois, Alexis G. Lamkin, Jamie  L. Lamkin, Ethan J. Desormeaux,  Logan K. Lamkin, Nicholas A. Aguillard, Lilly Dale Meaux Kelsey R. Lamkin, Breanna C. and Drake J. Cooper and Lillian A. Desormeaux; her six great grandchildren, Erliss Celestine IV, Salem M. and Raeell J. LaCaze, Violet J. Mustian, Khalil J. Lamkin and Jovi A. Lamkin; and her mother, Percy M. Howard.

She was preceded in death by her father, William K. Howard; her brother, Lonnie K. Howard; and her sister, Carolyn Howard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Monday, November  8, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM; Tuesday, November  9, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the time of the services at 1:00 PM.
