Margie Sonnier Meaux

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Margie Sonnier Meaux, 83, who died Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband, Hurbie Meaux of Kaplan; three sons, Mark Breaux and his wife, Annette of Kaplan, Randy Breaux and his fiancé, Melody Storms of Lafayette, and Scott Breaux and his fiancé, Lynn Hebert of Kaplan; two step-sons, Timmy Meaux of Baton Rouge and Eddie Meaux of New Orleans; one daughter, Becky and her husband, Kimble Conley of Kaplan; one step-daughter, Geralyn Meaux of Kaplan; one sister, Connie Domingue of Welsh; one brother, Thomas Sonnier of Fort Worth, TX; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Moise Sonnier and the former Enite Lormand; her first husband, Dallas Breaux; one son, Rickey Breaux; one grandson, Joshua Breaux; four brothers, Len Sonnier, Bobby Sonnier, Rudy Sonnier, and Mitch Sonnier; and one brother-in-law, John Domingue.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:30 PM; Friday, January 12, 2018 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church.
