Marilene Marceaux Mullen

Kaplan—Graveside services officiated by Deacon Bryan Istre will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery honoring the life of Marilene Marceaux Mullen, who passed away at the age of 85 on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at The Trace at Claiborne Hill.

She is survived by her two sons, Paul Broussard of Kaplan and Steve Mullen and his wife, Patricia of Baton Rouge; her two daughters, Ann Cooper and her husband, Wayne of Folsom and Leslie Helm of Prairieville; her sister, Betty Gaspard and her husband, Oran; her eight grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren; along with her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn L. “Moon” Mullen; parents, Delma Marceaux and the former Beatrice Mallet; two brothers, Jessie “Brother” Marceaux and Clerfe Sonnier; her great-grandchild; and her son-in-law, Phil Helm.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 8:30 AM until 11:45 AM when the procession departs for the cemetery.
