Mary Jane "Goldie" Buford

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Mary Jane Buford, 68, who died Friday, May 3, 2019 at Louisiana Extended Care Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Palthasar Arrockia Doss officiating the services.

She is survived by her four sons, Frank LeMaire, Jr. and his wife, Annette of St. Martinville, Tommy LeMaire and his wife, Donna of Kaplan, Jimmy LeMaire of Kaplan; and Lucus Buford of Kaplan; three daughters, Kathy and her husband, Norris Menard of Abbeville, Norma and her husband, Darvin Hebert of Kaplan, and Stephanie Buford of Kaplan; three sisters, Lois Buford of Erath, Lena Marceaux of Abbeville, and Grace Buford of Abbeville; four brothers, Adam Buford, Harold Buford of Youngsville, Noah Buford of Lafayette, and James Buford of Church Point; 24 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Ann LeMaire; her parents, Sam Adam Buford and the former Eunice Campisi; and one sister, Marie Buford.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM; Monday, May 6, 2019 from 8:00 AM until the services at 1:00 PM.
