Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Mary Evelyn M. LeMaire, 82, who died Sunday, December 2, 2018 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery.

She is survived by her four sons, Lurcy Dartez and his wife, Jackie of Kaplan, Murphy Dartez and his wife, Cynthia of Kaplan, Gerald Dartez and his wife, Carole of Delcambre, and Joseph Anthony LeMaire and his wife, Libby of Kaplan; her daughter, Mary F. and her husband, Aaron Ryder of Kaplan; her two sisters, Aurora Abshire of Texas and Laura Guidry of Cow Island; her brother, Exavier Marceaux, Jr. of Abbeville; her ten grandchildren; and her 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Theodule Dartez; her parents Exavier Marceaux and the former Laura Marceaux; her daughter, Leva Mae Hargrave; her grand daughter, Leva Mae LeMaire; her four brothers, Israel, Willie, Frank, and Columbus Marceaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
