Marylene R. Menard

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marylene R. Menard. She died peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 79.

A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Reverend Stephen S. Irudayasamy will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 28, 2025, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church.

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:45 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Marylene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and always having a wonderful meal prepared for them to enjoy. Most days you could find her at a restaurant spending time with her many friends. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by a son, Neil Menard and his wife Tricia Menard; a daughter, Tracy Biggerstaff and her husband Heath Biggerstaff; three grandchildren, Bella Biggerstaff, Seth Menard, and Sydney Menard. She is also survived by her twin brother, Mahlen Roussel and his wife Pat Roussel, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Menard Jr; her parents Gilbert and Inez Roussel; and one sister, Linda Leger and her husband Raymond Leger.

Pallbearers will be Chad, Mark, and Travis Roussel, Shane Menard, Seth Menard, and Sam Foti.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan, La.
