May Hargrave

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of May Celia Hargrave, 81, who died Friday, May 25, 2018 at Maison du Monde Living Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

She is survived by her two children, Kay and her husband, Errol Campbell of Kaplan and David Hargrave and his wife, Christie of Kaplan; one brother, Sidman Adams of Kaplan; four grandchildren, Brady Campbell and his wife, Shannon of Kaplan, Ryan Campbell and his wife, Angel of Kaplan, Taylor Hargrave and his wife, Lauren of Lafayette, and Kasey and her husband, Cord Larsen of Lake Charles; and five great grandchildren, Gavin Campbell, Cullen Campbell, Gus Campbell, MaKay Campbell, and Catherine Hargrave.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Hargrave; her parents, Elie Adams, Jr. and the former Zora Trahan; and one brother, Ray Adams.

The family would like to thank Maison Du Monde for their wonderful care and compassion during the last seven years and Hospice of Acadiana for the comfort and care they provided to her and her family.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church with a rosary being prayed at 9:30 AM.
