Maylan Joseph Marceaux

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home in Kaplan honoring the life of Maylan Joseph Marceaux, 84, who died Monday, August 26, 2024. Maylan was the longtime business owner of Marceaux Wheel Alignment in Kaplan. He will be laid to rest at Pitery Family Cemetery with Deacon Bryan Istre officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Nathan Leleux, Scott Roddy, Alex Roddy, Owen Suire, Kyle Roddy, and Logan Suire.

He is survived by his daughters, Donna A. Leleux (Kevin), Georgie M. Roddy (Darrin), Karla M. Suire (Manuel), Nadine M. Leblanc (Keith); grandchildren, Nathan Leleux (CC), Scott Roddy (Stephanie), Ashley Alexander (Grant), Morgan Trahan, Heather C. Comeaux (Spencer), Alex Roddy, Owen Suire, Kyle Roddy, Logan Suire; and two great grandchildren, Dani Rae Alexander, and Hollis Grant Alexander.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Novelle B. Marceaux; and his first grandson, Johnathan Wayne Leleux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home in Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 9:00 AM until services begin at 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 10:00 AM.
