Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Michael G Hartwell, 67, who died Sunday, July 15, 2018. He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.

He is survived by his son, Colton Hartwell of Gueydan; two daughters, Myka Hartwell of Lafayette and Robyn Hartwell of Crowley; his brother, Pat Hartwell and his wife, Pam of Gueydan; two nieces, Kelsey Hartwell Rogers and Kandace Hartwell Hargrave; and one granddaughter, Abigail Myers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Venable Hartwell; his parents, Lloyd G. Hartwell and the former Marjorie Mae Vincent; and his brother, Stephen Hartwell.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM; Friday, July 20, 2018 from 8:00 AM until the services.
