Mona Nichols

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Mona Nichols, 59, who died Saturday, January 21, 2023. She will be laid to rest at Cossinade Cemetery with Father Mark Miley officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, Ross Stoute (Starlyn) of New Orleans, and Dalton Stoute Jr. (Melissa) of Morse; her daughter, Shalayna Cormier (Josh) of Morse; her sister, JaNiece LeMaire (Jason) of Hector, Arkansas; her two brothers, Ricky Miguez (Judy) of Port Arthur, TX, and Felix Guidry Jr. (Sue) of Kaplan; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Nichols Sr.; one son, Kriss Stoute, Sr.; her parents, Felix Guidry and the former Martha Cundiff; and her companion Gary Sonnier.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
