Monte Keith Bertrand

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Monte Keith Bertrand, 54, who died Friday, December 29, 2023. He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

He is survived by his parents, Ronald Paul Bertrand and the former Jerry Dupuis; two brothers, Steven Bertrand and his wife, Lisa of Kaplan and Greg Bertrand and his wife, Rachel of Kaplan; one godchild, Gabrielle Bertrand Roussel and her husband, Dylan of Kaplan; three nephews, Judd Bertrand of Kaplan, Brett Bertrand of Kaplan and Caden Bertrand of Erath; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins that he dearly loved.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Percy “Nook” Bertrand and the former Ruby Abshire; and his maternal grandparents, L.J. Dupuis and the former Estelle Hargrave.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being prayed by Kayla Rung Hebert at 4:00 PM; Monday, January 8, 2024 from 8:00 AM until the services at 11:00 AM.
