Neil Thomas "Tommy" Veazey

Abbeville- Tommy worked many different jobs during his life, ranging from working in the oilfield to working with recovering alcoholics and addicts.  His most recent job working as a pipeline coating inspector allowed him to visit many different parts of the country, which he loved. His most recent job location was in Sulphur, LA where he died peacefully in his sleep on December 3, 2022.

He was an avid hunter and cattleman. He loved to play the guitar and was always ready to jump in for a jam session or to play for the fundraisers for the fire station or the church on Pecan Island.

Tommy loved his family.  He is survived by his sister, Debbi Ebner (Rick); brother, Gerry Veazey (Jane); nieces and nephews, Jenn Tadlock (Harper), Eric Ebner, Sean Ebner (Katie), Kevin Ebner (Kayla), Ashley Veazey Kovacs (Dean), Meaghan Veazey Rozean (Cameron), and Garrett Veazey; and great-nieces and nephew, Preslie Ebner, Penny Ebner, Reid Ebner, and Abby Ebner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Virginia Veazey.

A memorial Mass will be held to celebrate his life at a later date.
