Nelson D. Gaspard

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Nelson Daniel Gaspard, 89, who died Friday, July 8, 2022 at Vermilion Health Care Center with Deacon William "Billy" Vincent officiating the services.

He is survived by his three daughters, Tina Desormeaux of Meaux, Kimberly Gaspard of Delcambre and Damitri Gaspard of San Angelo, TX; his nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarca Gaspard and the former Agnes Manceaux; his two sons, Ivan Gaspard and Daniel Gaspard; his sister, Gladys Stepp; and his brothers, Oliver Gaspard, Preston Gaspard, Andrew Gaspard, J.C. Gaspard and Leonce Gaspard.

The family would like to say a special thanks to Vermilion Health Care and Rehabilitation Center and their staff for all the care and compassion in their time of need.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 9:00 AM until the time of the services at 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 10:30 AM.
