Nicholas Ray Seaux

September 1, 1979 — September 26, 2023

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 29, 2023, at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Nicholas “Nick” Ray Seaux, 44, who passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Abbeville General Hospital.

Nick was a fitter/welder for many years, he enjoyed fishing and going to the gym. Nick was brimming with love and compassion, dedicated to inspiring others to reach their full potential. Yet done quietly, he had a remarkable ability to touch the lives of numerous individuals, consistently extending a helping hand and providing daily doses of motivation. His affection for his immediate family was immeasurable, and his influence on his grands, nieces and nephews was profound, making his loss particularly difficult for each of them. At times, individuals may not realize the profound influence they have on others during their time on Earth, but it becomes unmistakably clear in their absence.

Nick had a special place not only within our family but also as we’ve witnessed, in the past twenty four hours, within an entire community that extends across the United States. His passing has created an irreplaceable void, shaking us to our very core and prompting profound reflections on how swiftly life can change in the blink of an eye.

He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-four years, Twyla Touchet Seaux; stepson, Brody Reed and his wife, Carrie and his grandchildren, Austen, Susie and Hunter Reed; mother, Bonnie Ray Richard Seaux; sister, Shannon R. Badeaux and her husband, Broc; brothers, Brandon R. Seaux and his fiancé, Claudia, and Shaun K. Seaux and his wife, Sheena. His godchildren, Sadi Seaux, Lily Touchet and Samuel Touchet; several nieces and nephews; and Blue his K-9 son.

He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Wayne Seaux; sister, Misty Ray Seaux; father and mother-in-law, Earl J. Touchet and Patsy Touchet; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Anna Lou Richard; paternal grandparents, Dudley and Eva Seaux; and his beloved K-9 son, Chopper.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 9:30 AM until time of service.
