Peggy Ruth Paul Hardee

February 20, 1928 — December 28, 2017

Gueydan - Peggy Ruth Paul Hardee passed away peacefully at Vermilion Health Care Center on December 28, 2017. She was born on February 20, 1928, in Clyde, Texas, to Arthur and Lola Paul.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Lucille Colwell, and her husband of fifty-five years, Johnnie Ray Hardee, Sr.

She is survived by her brother, William A Paul; her children, Johnnie Ray Hardee, Jr (Brenda) and Debbie Hardee Gates (TJ); four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Her family remembers her lovingly as a wonderful cook and seamstress.

A private graveside service was held on December 30, 2017.
